Anne Jongedijk-van Rossum
Anne is a mom of two boys, both of whom she experienced severe polyhydramnios pregnancies with. After not finding the cause for the condition in her first pregnancy, she did her own research when confronted with it a second time and found a rare, newly discovered form of Bartter’s syndrome which led to a diagnosis for both her boys and herself.
She is passionate about advocating for moms and babies who suffer(ed) polyhydramnios, with a special interest in Maternal & Infant Mental Health (IMH) as well as different aspects of preterm birth and its effects on the development of preemies into adulthood.
After having worked in secondary and vocational education, she completed an MA in Educational Theory with a focus on complex birth stories and their impact on families.
